Kylo's favorites
I personally sniffed, tested and judged all of this (for better or worse). My human links it – I do the judging.

Water fountain
Ceramic Water Fountain
Running water clearly tastes better than what sits in a bowl. Don't ask why.
Pros
- Encourages drinking, especially in summer
- Ceramic is easy to clean
- Pump is pleasantly quiet
Cons
- Filters need regular replacing
- Cord needs hiding or it becomes a toy
Cat grass
Cat Grass Growing Kit
Finally something green I'm allowed to nibble without my human panicking.
Pros
- Safe alternative to houseplants
- Grows back quickly and easily
- Cheap entry, no tools needed
Cons
- Needs regular watering
- Looks shredded after two or three weeks
Feather wand
Interchangeable Feather Wand
Reliably turns my human into a usable hunting partner. Rare, but it happens.
Pros
- Wakes up even the laziest afternoons
- Swappable heads keep it interesting
- Wand is long enough to keep furniture safe
Cons
- Feathers come loose after intense sessions
- Eventually useless without spare parts
Puzzle feeder
Snuffle Board with Compartments
Honestly exhausting. But the treats are worth it, so I play along.
Pros
- Noticeably slows down frantic eating
- Good occupation on rainy days
- Wipes clean easily
Cons
- Some cats ignore it completely at first
- Small parts take getting used to
Window perch
Suction-Mount Window Perch
The best box seat in the house. From here I personally supervise birds, neighbors, and the sun.
Pros
- Uses window space that would otherwise go to waste
- Suction cups hold surprisingly well
- Padded and easy to clean
Cons
- Not suitable for every window type
- Check the weight limit beforehand
Litter box
XL Litter Box
Finally room to turn around without grazing the wall. The small boxes were an insult.
Pros
- Plenty of room even for larger cats
- High rim keeps litter contained
- Sturdy and stable
Cons
- Needs noticeably more floor space
- No lid, so add one separately if you want it
Cat tree
Cat Tree with Sisal Posts
My throne. It took me three days to admit it, but now I defend it with claws.
Pros
- Sisal actually holds up to scratching
- Multiple levels for lookout spots
- Stays stable even during wild zoomies
Cons
- Assembly takes longer than expected
- Needs more floor space than the photo suggests
Grooming glove
Grooming Glove
Feels like petting, but suspiciously good at collecting fur. I allow it, grudgingly.
Pros
- Less stressful than a classic brush
- Great for quick petting sessions with a bonus effect
- Washable and durable
Cons
- Doesn't remove as much undercoat as a real brush
- Reaches its limits on very dense fur
